Dr. Daniel Theberge received his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Albany and his dental degree from Emory University. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC.
He retired from the US Army with over 22 years of service and completed his military career as the Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He was also the Director of Residency Training at Walter Reed for the combined Army/Navy - National Military Consortium Oral Maxillofacial Surgery residency training program - which consisted of Walter Reed, National Naval Medical Center (Bethesda) and the Uniform Services University Medical School (Bethesda).
Dr. Theberge is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and past US Army delegate to the American Association of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is currently on the medical staff at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital and formerly served as the Chairman for the Department of Dentistry and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, the Virginia Dental Association, Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Middle Atlantic Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Academy of Osseointegration & the Implant Society of N. Virginia.
